Yesterday's interview at MAPSYS went very well. It seems that they are wanting to expand a division of their company, and I would be a key part of that. I would be working to help install and support many of the pieces and parts that we purchased from MAPSYS when I worked at the AMA. I should hear something early next week. Keep your fingers crossed. Light a candle. Say a prayer. Rub Jobul's belly. Whatever it takes. I 'd like to have this job.
I was taken to the Fish Market for lunch, which is a very nice resturaunt. I had the Penne pasta in an alfredo sauce with blue crab and jumbo shrimp in it. Oh my was it tasty. Highly recomend you eat there if you are in the neighborhood. The place also holds some sentimental value to me, as it is where I proposed to my wife several years ago.
It's nice to feel needed or wanted. It is something that I havent felt at work in quite a while. I always got the impression that I was there, so stuff would just get done. No one likes to be taken for granted. Somethng I need to remember, because I am sure I am guilty of it as well.
