What a week...

It started off great on Sunday and a trip to see Jenilee's play 'Cry Havoc'. Great show. Patti, Jeni's Mom, was celebrating her Birthday, which made the trip even nicer. Great time with great friends. A long drive home in the dark, with it being very windy and some snow, and off to bed.

Monday was not a good day at work, and when I went home, I honestly did not think I'd have a job come Tuesday. Such is the atmosphere here where I work. Many folks wondering when, not if, the ax will fall. I took Tuesday off for a Mental Health day, and because the kids were home from school. Just spend some time with them. We managed to get all the laundry done and to watch a couple of movies during the course of the day. One of the movies was American Sweethearts, which is one of those romantic comedies that are actually funny. I can still see Andy, my 13 year old, rolling across the floor when the lover boys manhood was compared to the size of a roll of quarters. He was in stitches.

Back to work on eggshells on Wednesday, but the highlight was that Andrea and I got to go to the Blue Jacket game and sit down in the Club seats. Ahhhh....does the other half know how to live. Nice bars, great food, great view...now, if only the team would have shown up. I guess we cant have it all, but a 7-2 defeat? Come on guys!!!!

Thursday was Valentines Day, but due to schedules, Andrea and I got to be with each other for a very minimal time. She was off at a meeting, and got out of hers about the time my Lens and Leaves was starting up. She is off today to spend time with her Mother and Sister, so she shoudl be in a good mood when I get home.

I leave you now with one of the highlights from the game Wednesday....
